Sacred Heart Summer Camp's Values And Goals
Sacred Heart Summer Camp is part of the Mid-Hudson Valley Camp, which is a nine-week summer camp program hosted and organized by the Marist Brothers. The Mid-Hudson Valley Camp is dedicated to serving diverse populations and under-served communities in a safe environment while promoting respect, equality and equity for all those who attend the Camp. The Mid-Hudson Valley Camp provides campers with weeks of laughter, adventure, exploration, friendship, and leisure. For its volunteers, the Mid-Hudson Valley Camp promises a week of fulfillment and opportunities to learn about humility, patience, and what it is like to be leaders and mentors. Each week of the summer a different group of campers experiences the joy of being part of the Mid-Hudson Valley Camp family. For more than 40 years, one of those weeks has been set aside for the children of Sacred Heart School in the Highbridge Section of the South Bronx, New York.
